Follow the path away from the road, following the canal feeder, until you come across the small, blue bridge. There is nothing to fear from trolls here - Those brutes prefer roomier abodes, complete with dripping moss and rocky bottoms. I'm told it helps them scratch their backs - But I digress!

Cross the bridge and you will find the junction. Which way now, Adventurers? Straight on to the Old Cottages or do you wish to follow the path right and cross the Irwell?
