Puzzle Quest

You have been assigned the task of helping the environment!

Locked away in a hidden chest somewhere within the Burrs Country Park are packets of wildflower seeds.

Using the downloadable map, venture on an exciting journey and solve the seven puzzles along the way which will reveal the secret code to unlock the hidden chest.  

Now get your map, walking boots and thinking caps on and complete  'The Puzzle Quest'!

Three Sisters Quest
-£3 per family-

The Golden Dragon Egg has been locked inside a chest and hidden within the Three Sisters, Wigan: your quest is to locate the chest, unlock it using the pin code and then retrieve the precious dragon egg from inside.
 
This a whole family activity (or go alone if you are brave enough!) that promotes embracing the great outdoors together by embarking upon a journey without any prior knowledge of the direction to which you will be heading. 
 
This adventure will encourage you to explore routes you may never have taken before or even knew existed. This is truly an adventure game like no other!

Kirklees Valley Quest

History Trail
Kirklees Valley Local Nature Reserve

Our exciting, interactive History Trail, within the Kirklees Valley Nature Reserve, will lead you on a journey to discover the heritage of the site and its ecological importance.
 

Learn about the trainline and the mill sites, nature and even the Totty Snake!
 

There are 15 locations throughout the 5km route.
 

Use your phone to scan the QR code at each location and Professor Jigget will present to you the history of that very location!
