The Sunnywood Project cater for all ages and abilities to provide effective, measurable and engaging bespoke intervention programmes suited to the individual needs of the child. Our educational programmes take place at various locations across the North West and surrounding areas.

Invent: Interactive Trails

With thanks to The National Lottery Platinum Jubilee Community Fund, The Sunnywood Project is now able to work with your school or community group to develop a brand new, exciting interactive self-led trail that will encourage your local community to embrace the outdoors in a new and unique way.

Kindling Kids

A free programme of outdoor educational activities designed to support the improvement of mental, physical and social wellbeing for children aged 7-12 years. 

Location: Tottington, Bury 

Starting: March 2022 

Cost: Free (suggested donation £4)

Walk Leader Training

The CPD course will prepare individuals looking to lead walks for physical, mental, and social well-being. Combining the ethos and qualities of effective leadership with crucial expertise in outdoor activities, the course will cover the development, planning, preparation, and delivery stages of walk leading, with emphasis on ethical and ecological considerations alongside reflective practice.

Youth Programme: Sunnywood Squad 


Outdoor conservation activities designed to support the improvement of mental, physical and social wellbeing for young people aged 13-16 years. 

Location: Bury/Tottington 

Time: Tuesdays 6-8pm 

Cost: Free (Suggested £5 donation)
