VIP Invite to LET'S DO LIGHTS!

Dear Friend of Sunnywood,

We would love to invite you to join us for LET’S DO LIGHTS!, The Sunnywood Project’s unique after-dark festival at Burrs Country Park on Saturday 17 October.

As someone who has supported, worked alongside, partnered with or taken an interest in The Sunnywood Project, we would love you to join us to experience first-hand how The Sunnywood Project brings together outdoor activity, culture, creativity and community wellbeing.

LET’S DO LIGHTS! will transform Burrs Country Park after dark, bringing together families and communities for an evening of light, movement, music, art and outdoor adventure.

Across the park there’ll be an incredible mix of experiences, including illuminated trails, our Family Silent Disco Hike Adventure, live performances, interactive art and projections, family activities, a Night 5k Trail Run, Rave Fitness, storytelling, sound baths, unqiue cycle projection activity and plenty more.

The festival reflects much of what Sunnywood is about: finding creative, and sometimes unexpected, ways to encourage and incentivise people to get outside, get active, connect with others and experience our local outdoor spaces differently.

It will also be an opportunity for us to celebrate the partnerships and relationships that make so much of our work possible.

We'd therefore be delighted if you could come along, experience the festival for yourself and catch up with Marc, Lou and the wider Sunnywood volunteer team.

Festival opens from 4pm with the main programme from approximately 5.30pm–8pm

There’s absolutely no expectation for you to stay for the whole evening: we'd simply love to see you at some point and share a little of what we've been creating.
