About the Event
Discover Drawing: Introduction to Perspective (Session 2)
Following the success of our Discover Watercolour workshops, we’re excited to introduce a new pair of sessions focused on drawing using perspective: a fundamental skill that will help bring depth and realism to your artwork.
Across two relaxed and supportive sessions, you’ll explore the key rules of perspective and learn how to apply them in your own sketches:
Session 1: Understanding the basics of perspective, including horizon lines, vanishing points, and simple structures.
Session 2: Putting theory into practice by creating your own sketch using these techniques.
Weather permitting, part of the sessions will take place outdoors, where you’ll have the opportunity to sketch in the beautiful surroundings of Burrs Country Park.
The sessions are designed to follow on from one another, but you’re very welcome to attend just one if you can’t make both.
