About the Event

Holcombe Moor Trails

Join our 6-week hike & trail run series designed to explore the wonderful environment and heritage of Holcombe Moor.

Plus it is a fantastic opportunity to spark adventure, lift spirits, and boost mental well-being - by benefiting positively from embracing the outdoors with other like-minded individuals.

Over a six week period, our 'Holcombe Moor Trails' events are designed to explore the environment and heritage across Holcombe Moor whilst facilitating a positive shared experience.

Each route will cover a distance of approximately 4-5 miles - however, the emphasis is less on the distance and more on the laughs, the social experience, and opportunity to capture some awesome photographs!

Over the six weeks, you can expect to visit:

  • Sensitive grasslands and peatland protected by the National Trust

  • Inside the iconic Peel Tower

  • Pilgrim's Cross

  • Ellen Strange's memorial stone

  • Red Brook

Hikers are Runners start at the same locations, but head out on the routes in opposite directions, passing each other along the route for a group photo opportunity.

Led by a qualified Hill and Moorland team with a wealth of experience and expertise.

Leave the planning and navigation to us and just enjoy venturing through our glorious woodlands and countryside with awesome company.

Photos and discussion can be shared in the member's Facebook group.
