About the Event
Join Holly and Friends of Outwood Country Park, Radcliffe to help restore some of the footpaths.
Come along to hear about the great work Holly and the gang are doing to restore one of our great country parks whilst meeting new people and getting active outdoors!Â
Outwood Country Park is made up of around 60 hectares of new and ancient clough woodland, and is on the site of a former colliery and railway line. Unfortuantely, due to lack of funding, some of the paths are no longer accessible. Holly & co are working hard to change that but need your help! Â
So let's roll up our sleeves and tackle this together!
Meet at the James Street North Car Park, off Outwood Road. Everyone welcome and every little helps!Â
What to bring:
• Wear suitable clothing for walking and gardening - not your best kit!Â
• A drink
• Sturdy footwear
• Personal snacks/food
• Bring gloves if possible
Tea and coffee will be provided.Â
