Blackburn Town Centre Silent Disco Walk

Embrace the great outdoors, a truly unique experience - add in the party atmosphere of a Silent Disco, and you're set for an unforgettable family adventure. 

Join us for a walk around Blackburn Town Centre with a soundtrack to get everyone dancing in the streets!

On arrival, you will be given a Silent Disco headset device which will have:

• Three channels allowing you to select your preferred dance / sing-along tunes throughout the event 

• Illuminated earphones (Red, Green, or Blue) to indicate the channel you and your friends are listening to 

• Personalised volume control 

Get ready to hit the pavements and show off your dance moves - join us for an adventure where we’ll dance like no one’s watching.

You need to book a place at this event to guarantee your spot.

Please note: This is a walking activity. Participants should dress in comfortable clothing and wear suitable shoes for walking approx 1 mile over a 45 minute period. Children are welcome to attend but must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. 

The route is suitable for wheelchair and mobility scooter users but there are some road crossings which can be noted by stewards to locate a suitable drop kerb point.

Places on this event are strictly limited for due to the amount Silent Disco headsets available and to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all.

Please allow enough time to get to the meeting point to be allocated your headset and a quick briefing – we are unable to wait for you. Look out for The Sunnywood Project flag or van, and our team wearing hi-viz.

Car parking is available and free, however we encourage car-sharing where possible for the sake of the local community and the environment.

What to bring:

• Bright, but warm clothing - you may wish to embellish further with glowsticks and neon facepaint. 

• Ensure you are dressed for the forecast weather for the event and are wearing sturdy footwear.

• Please ensure you bring a waterproof outer layer just in case!

• Snacks and a drink for the duration

• Fully charged phone for taking lots of photos

Misuse: 

Upon booking, you will be asked to agree to pay a £30 charge if a headset is damaged through deliberate misuse.
