About the Event

Conquer the Wild Mountain Hike

A challenging mountain hike of the Carneddau range, including the second highest peak in Wales.

This is a 10 mile looped moutainous route which will include Pen yr Ole Wen (978m), Carnedd Dafydd (1044m), Carnedd Llewelyn (1064m) and Pen yr Helgi Du (833m) - all of which make for an amazing adventure and awesome photo opportunities!

Led by a qualified Mountain Leader, Hill and Moorland team, with a wealth of experience and expertise.

Discover and explore new places whilst completing a challenging route with the camaraderie of other like-minded people around you – there should be no desire to ‘beat’ anyone or break any records.

You should be prepared for a full day in the mountains. As this is a supportive, group event accommodating a range of abilities, please consider the latest time advertised if making plans after the event.

Leave the planning and navigation to us and just enjoy venturing out into the open enjoying the views and company.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of this event, no under 18's and no dogs are permitted.

Meeting point will be emailed to participants before the event. Camping the evening before is recommended, with many campsites, hostels or other accomodation is available in the area.

Our team will be staying at Dolgam Campsite the night before the event - you are welcome to book a pitch and join us.

If you book onto this event, you will be provided a £10 discount code for our other Snowdonia adventure this weekend, should you wish to join us for both.
