Counselling at The Sunnywood Project
Counselling at The Sunnywood Project will provide you a safe and confidential space to talk to someone about what’s going on for you – About your concerns, worries, and issues.
Counselling at The Sunnywood Project will provide you a safe and confidential space to talk to someone about what’s going on for you – About your concerns, worries, and issues.
There are a range of things that counselling can help with, from loss, confidence, stress, to something specific such as a bereavement or relationship issues. You don’t have to be in, or on the verge of crisis, before seeking counselling.
EXPLORE what matters to you… what it means to be you… your experiences, thoughts, and feelings
At times, we can feel quite isolated with what’s going on for us. That we have no one to talk to –Even those of us with the most supportive friends and family can find it difficult to explain why we’re feeling anxious, low, or upset. Often, we might just find it easier to talk about personal, family, or relationship issues with someone independent.
Counsellors won’t give you their opinion. They won’t advice, diagnose, or prescribe medication. They will seek to create a meaningful relationship without judgement in which, together, you can find explore your thoughts and feelings so that you can develop better and new understandings of yourself and others.
LEARN more about yourself… what works for you… what you can or want to change…
All counselling sessions at The Sunnywood Project will take place at an agreed time at our Community Hub in the Burrs country Park and will be conducted by a qualified or trainee counsellor. Regardless of their status, they will be a passionate professional dedicated to helping you make sense of your world, supporting in doing so by an organisation with community at its heart and helping embedded in its ethos.
GROW your awareness… as a person… to have confidence in self…
