The Sunnywood Project’s Summer Youth Hike Programme promotes a love for the great outdoors to stimulate a mentally and physically healthy lifestyle for teens.
The Summer Youth Hiking programme consists of 4 days exploring different remote locations.
9.30am - 2pm each day.

Promoting a love for the great outdoors, The Summer Youth Hiking programme consists of 4 days exploring different, beautiful and remote locations.

Suitable for ages 15 plus: each day will cover a distance between 6-7 miles over mixed terrain and provide opportunity to learn basic map reading skills whilst ‘reconnecting’ with the outside world - we discourage the use of phones for the duration of the Hikes.
We’ll pause for lunch to admire the views and scenery.

- Aid improving quality of sleep and reduction of anxiety
This event is suited to those who maybe experiencing low mood or low self-esteem and those that do not necessarily enjoy team sports, but have an appreciation for nature and the outdoors.

Day 1: Burrs Country Park and Chesham
Day 2: Jumbles and Chatterton Close
Day 3: Redisher Woods & Holcombe Moor
Day 4: Scout Moor
