EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH & SUPPORT FOR SCHOOLS

_edited.png

The Sunnywood Project cater for all ages and abilities to provide effective, measurable and engaging bespoke intervention programmes suited to the individual needs of the child. Our educational programmes take place at various locations across the North West and surrounding areas.

"If a child cannot learn in the way we teach, we must teach in a way the child can learn""

Ignacio Estrada

Creative Approaches

We provide creative approaches to working with children who:

  • display behaviour that challenges within mainstream school

  • display behaviour that challenges at home

  • have social and emotional difficulties

  • are currently in care

  • present low levels of self-esteem and confidence

  • are not currently accessing school for any other reason

What to expect

The majority of our approach is practical and will involve being outdoors; therefore a reasonable level of physical ability is required to benefit from our programmes.

Referrals will only be accepted if all parties: the child, parent/carer, school/agency and The Sunnywood Project agree that our programme would be of benefit to the referred child.
